On the first Monday of every month, community members meet in the IS Lab to experiment with new technology and techniques that not only look great on the resume, but also enable LIS graduates to hit the ground running in their new professional positions. Join us on Monday for an introduction to programming in R led by Jeremy Zimmett.
Jeremy is a current MLIS student who previously worked as a data analyst before returning to academia. Jeremy has experience analyzing survey data and working on digital humanities projects. His recent work centers on how data can help us better understand men’s perception of sexual violence in the workplace. He is currently on the Student Governing Board and a liaison to the Diversity Council in the Information Studies Department.
