Dr. Marcia Bates on “Designing Search Interfaces for our Inner Hunter-Gatherer: Getting Serious about Browsing.”

This Thursday the 6th we invite you to hear from Dr. Marcia Bates on “Designing Search Interfaces for our Inner Hunter-Gatherer: Getting Serious about Browsing.” Dr. Bates is Professor Emerita in our own Department of Information Studies, where she has also served as Associate Dean and Department Chair. Dr. Bates joins us Thursday to share her expertise on information seeking behavior and the design of information search and retrieval systems. The presentation will be at 3pm in the GSEIS Building, Room 111.
