The Environmental Design Archives (EDA) is currently seeking a dynamic collaborative archivist and scholar who will enhance and maintain the ED Archives’ position as a leader in the field of design records while supporting the educational mission of the College of Environmental Design and engaging fully with faculty and students within the College of Environmental Design as well as the wider UC Community. This is a full-time Librarian position. Salary Range: $99,154-104,582 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

* Advanced subject knowledge of architecture, landscape architecture, historic preservation, or Bay Area design history * Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to special collections and archives research services, including a keen interest in promoting the research use and appreciation of rare and primary source materials, a commitment to planning, implementing, and assessing user-centered services, and understanding the user experience to improve the discovery process of collections * Knowledge of collection development, archival processing, database management, technical and research services, and public outreach including but not limited to exhibitions, websites, events, and publications * Demonstrated knowledge emerging technologies including born-digital design records, digitization activities and technology; and experience with outcomes and assessment of and archives services * Demonstrate successful fundraising experience, including donor development and relations; writing appeals and running crowdfunding campaigns; and managing grants from preparation to completion including budgets
